World Cup 2010- Bengal Cuisine

We were 4 Bangi's in Bangali Para (Brick Lane) in London, wondering around just at the start of the game, after been rejected from the Big Warehouse our friends were at. OF COURSE we wandered into a Bangali restaurant!

Actually the first one we went to called prem sth, was really odd! the waiters told us 10 times, we have to order something to sit inside. The sound of the game was muted so we left, but as we were leaving some other people were asking the owner to up the sound, and he started screaming and threw them out. (we also later heard some bangi's had big fights there for similar reasons LOL)

Anyhoo, we ended up in a nice quiet place: Bengal Cuisine and actually enjoyed ourselves, watching the game in peace.

We shared 1 Papadam (yep I'm back to being a broke student in bidesh)

an Aloo Chaat (we thought it was going to be real chaat, but instead it was a bhaji type thing but definitely my reason to ever go back there. was fantastic):

And a dish of Butter Chicken, which was also pretty good:

And Shamwah's Mango Lassi:

We had a good screen to watch the game, and of course amazing company with that.
