A Croatian Meal @ Dubrovnik, KL

Our best meal of the entire trip Hands down, was at this Croatian Restaurant in Soho. It was a weird coincidence that happened: I, of course, had researched KL restaurants beforehand, and Dubrovnik was on my list. on day 2, we had actually missed our reservation for this Italian place, and it was looking like it would be too late to head downtown and search for another place. Still, I really wanted to try out this place, the website promised such great things.

Lo and Behold! We find out the location is literally a 5 minute walk from where we were staying, and kitchen would close in 15. So we ran downhill to the restaurant, and sat outside over looking the road (a great pleasure we enjoyed while in bidesh.)

The view, the decor was Beautiful, but what was yet to come was even more so.
Without further delay I will introduce the participants to what became the Best meal of our trip:

Complimentary bread and dip and my favouritest drink in the world:

Shusmi's Croatian Kabab's with a side of wild rice and more Nutty dip (sorry i forget what it's called)

My lamb chops, with spinach and mushroom in white sauce and mashed potatoes (it was just HEAVEN!)

Nusha's Steak with a side of Sautéed mushrooms

And Bari and Jeff both had the famous Zagreb Chicken: Breaded chicken filled with turkey ham and cheese:

There was a small ice cream desert, which was gobbled up too quickly for a photo (plus we had a cab waiting to take us to MOS)

This restaurant goes into the top 10 FOR SURE.

PS: here is a snap of the leftovers of that day from CPK and Dubrovnik which we had another day at 3am:

  1. Can I ask what is that favorite drink of yours above? Looks like some kind of a mango-mojito-lassi concoction?
