Weddings: Bari's Mehndi Night

This is the 1st post of a wedding, that I'm posting (hoping to add more as more of my friends/family get married)

This is the Mehndi night, a casual night before the wedding, with music, food and mehndi decor for the bride and the other women of the bride's side.

The food was a mix of catered and home cooked food:

Gulshan Club with the Huqqleberries- II

wouldn't be a Dhaka trip without me chilling at the Huqqleberries place down the street, being "chagz" as we like to say, ie, being lazy and loving it! This particular day was in the midst of the millions of dawats, that all 3 of us bailed on, to eat Gulshan Club take out and watch Desperate Housewives.

This was probably my most relaxed evening in Dhaka... thanks bumz and ante.

Dhanshiri Kabab

Dhanshiri- used to be a late night hunger relief place till the prices started skyrocketting! Trust Gulshan to have "hotels" which are expensive too! haha.

Anyway my friend Shahed treated us to some kabab from their, at our late night adda session

First meal of 2011- Home Food

My first day back home on my break, I was greeted with a lovely meal made by Mum and our lovely cook Runa which I enjoyed  with my closest :D
