But in that effort, I had to finish up my sour cream.
Chicken white karahi.
This is a Pakistani dish, mum learnt from one of the channels. I made my improvised version with sour cream, my attempt of utilizing what's in the fridge.
It was a warm soupy feel, (without being soupy) and is kind of a curry version of stroganoff/picatta dish.

But basic jist of my version is you brown the chicken in oil and ginger. Then add onion paste, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin and green chillies and sauté for a while. Add back the chicken, mix and then add a spoon of yogurt and 2.5 spoons of sour cream. Mix, add water and salt, simmer.
Garnish with coriander (cos I use coriander on toppa errthing.)
Ps the original recipe uses cream not sour cream, but this version is equally yum.
